The excitement surrounding ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has fans buzzing with speculation about character comebacks. Kat Dennings, who charmed audiences in the Thor series, has recently cleared the air regarding her participation in the film.

As the excitement around ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is brewing, fans have been wondering whether familiar faces from older films will be making a comeback or not. Chris Evans’ return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in ‘Doomsday’ had prompted many to believe that some of the other characters may also be making their return. Kat Dennings, who appeared as a side character in ‘Thor’ and its follow-ups, recently addressed rumors about her return to the latest film.

Kat Dennings clarifies if she is in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ or not

“I’m in the [Marvel] universe, and as you know,” Kat Dennings says as she talks to Entertainment Tonight about some of her latest projects. She continues by adding, “I can’t tell you anything, but I am not in [Doomsday].”Many had been wondering about whether or not she would make a return, as Chris Hemsworth will also be returning as Thor. The actress officially clarified that she was considered by the filmmakers, but she is not featured in the film. “I mean, I’m not in it. And I’m telling you right now, I’m not in it. If I were in it, which I’m not, I couldn’t tell you, but I literally am not. I’m sure they already filmed it. I was here, I’m not in it,” she quipped on.

Further teasing fans about the matter, the actress added that since she was considered by Marvel, there is no telling what will happen in the universe. “They did scan me, so to be honest, they could put me in anything they want at this point. Who knows? I’m in the system!” she added. Over the years, Dennings, who rose to fame with ‘2 Broke Girls’, has appeared in many Marvel projects. These include ‘Thor: The Dark World’, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’, and the hit series ‘WandaVision.’
