Quote of the day by Pedro Pascal

Quote of the day by Pedro Pascal: ‘Go for it. Always……..All you’ve got to do is show up. That’s it’

We tend to let the fear of rejection paralyse us and stop us from living our lives to the fullest. That may be related to a new job, a leap of faith in a relationship, as well as just taking a step towards something you have always wished to do. However, Pascal removes the rejection part of the equation and talks about what if you took a chance, what if you showed up?

Quote of the day by Pedro Pascal

“Go for it. Always. Rejection doesn’t exist. It’s yours, or it’s not, before you walk in the room. All you’ve got to do is show up. That’s it.”This quote from the famed ‘Materialist’ actor is from one of his old social media posts before he deactivated his account. In this quote, Pascal talks about how rejection as a concept should not exist to you and that there are many things in life that may happen, but you still have to push forward.

What does the quote mean?

Pascal talks about going for it no matter what, citing that no matter the situation or how you may be feeling it is always best to take a chance. His quote adds that the one thing that truly matters in every situation is showing up, and the fear of rejection should not exist in your mind. The fear of failure and rejection in life often paralyzes us and stops us from taking a chance on things that may lead us toward our dreams. The examples from his life can also be taken into account, as he had struggled for almost two decades to make it in the industry. Through all of that, the star did not give up, and he took every rejection as a new possibility. He further says in the quote that “All you’ve got to do is show up. That’s it,” citing that the one important aspect of living life and chasing your dreams and goals comes from taking that chance that terrifies you and simply showing up. The quote ultimately says that you should believe in yourself regardless of the outcome. “Walk into the room with the confidence that you belong there, that you are meant to be there, do your level best, and then walk out without looking back.
