Priya drops cryptic post after Arya accuses Prateik of financial exploitation

'If misinformation paid bills...': Priya Banerjee drops cryptic post after Arya Babbar accuses Prateik of financial exploitation

Actor Prateik Smita Patil is at the center of fresh headlines following a social media post many believe links to recent comments made by his half-brother, Arya Babbar. This development has reignited public interest in the long-discussed tensions within the Babbar family. The discussion began after Arya spoke about his relationship with Prateik and the family’s history during a recent interview. Soon afterward, Prateik’s wife, actor Priya Banerjee, shared a message on Instagram Stories that many interpreted as a response to the controversy.

Priya Banerjee’s message sparks speculation

The post shared by Priya read, “If misinformation paid bills, some people would finally be successful,” along with the hashtag #IYKYK. Neither Priya nor Prateik offered any clarification regarding the post. However, many social media users linked it to Arya’s recent remarks.

Arya Babbar opens up about family dynamics

The controversy stems from Arya Babbar’s recent interview with Vickey Lalwani. During the conversation, Arya reflected on the family’s efforts to maintain a relationship with Prateik over the years. He also suggested that Raj Babbar’s first family had frequently been portrayed negatively in discussions surrounding their personal equations. Speaking about the issue, Arya said, “It’s like when your career is not doing well, and you need pocket money from dad to survive, then he is your father. When you want to live in the house that your father bought for Smita maa, then he is your father. When you want all the benefits, then he is your father. But when you have to acknowledge him and give him respect in front of society, then he is not your father. What is that? As an elder brother, I love him, but when he is wrong, he is wrong, and this is where he is wrong.”The latest developments come amid a complicated family history that has often attracted media attention. Earlier this year, Prateik married Priya Banerjee in a private ceremony attended by close friends and family members. Reports at the time suggested that Raj Babbar and members of his first family were not present at the wedding celebrations. Around the same period, Prateik officially adopted the name Prateik Smita Patil, paying tribute to his late mother, acclaimed actor Smita Patil. While the family controversy continues to make headlines, Prateik remains active on the professional front. The actor was most recently seen in HIT: The Third Case, the Telugu action thriller headlined by Nani. Go to Source
