Parag Tyagi on rumours around Shefali Jariwala’s death

Parag Tyagi breaks silence on rumours around Shefali Jariwala’s death: ‘If anti-ageing injections existed, everyone would take them’

Parag Tyagi has once again reacted to the rumours surrounding wife Shefali Jariwala’s death on June 27, 2025, and dismissed several bizarre claims circulating on social media. In a recent conversation with Filmygyan, Parag clarified that Shefali never took injections for dieting, fairness or anti-ageing purposes and urged people to stop believing “WhatsApp University.”During the interview, Parag was asked about rumours claiming that Shefali allegedly took certain injections that affected her health. Reacting strongly, he said he was surprised by the stories being spread online.

‘She was the fittest she had ever been’

Parag revealed that Shefali followed a normal lifestyle and enjoyed regular home-cooked food.“Hum log normal khaana khate the. Dal, sabzi, roti sab. Protein intake zyada tha, but everything was normal. She was the fittest at this point of time in her entire life,” he said.He also recalled how the family enjoyed food together and laughed off rumours that Shefali was dependent on injections to suppress hunger.“Hum Chinese khaate the, noodles khaate the, ice cream khaate the. Bhookh na lagne wale injections ki zarurat hi kya thi?” he said.

‘If there was an anti-ageing injection, everyone would take it’

Reacting to another rumour claiming that Shefali used anti-ageing injections, Parag Tyagi sarcastically said, “Please mujhe bhi bata do. Agar young rehne ka injection hota toh sab le lete. Parents ko bhi lagwa dete.”He further added, “Agar aisa hota toh Ratan Tata ji bhi aaj zinda hote.”Parag admitted that while people continue making assumptions online, he has now made peace with the situation.“Jab aana hota hai toh aana hota hai. You can’t control it,” he said.
