Nicole Kidman’s is her 17-year-old daughter’s ‘biggest inspiration’

Nicole Kidman’s 17-year-old daughter, Sunday Rose, calls her mom her 'biggest inspiration in life'

At just 17, Sunday Rose, the daughter of Nicole Kidman, sees her mother as her greatest muse. Having spent time on movie sets with Kidman, she developed a passion for modeling and film.

Nicole Kidman may be an inspiration for many, but this one person, who’s inspired by her, is special. Nicole Kidman’s 17-year-old daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, is thanking her for being her inspiration.

Nicole Kidman is her daughter’s biggest inspiration

While speaking to Elle Australia, the 17-year-old model revealed that visiting photoshoot sets with her mom as a child inspired her to enter the modeling world and film industry.“I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age,” Sunday explained, before adding, “My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do.”

Being in school has been really helpful for Sunday Rose

Since she has grown up in the spotlight, Sunday also told the outlet that being in school has been a “really helpful” tool in staying grounded and navigating online attention. “The privilege of having these experiences and meeting so many new people is so amazing, but as a teenager it’s so easy to get sucked in to all of it so fast,” she said. “So being able to come back [to Nashville] and keep that perspective of being back at high school keeps me grounded. ”

Sunday Rose also hopes to study filmmaking

The teenager, who made her runway debut as part of Miu Miu’s spring/summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week show in October 2024, also revealed that she posed for her magazine cover just hours before heading to her school’s winter formal. As she prepares to turn 18 in July, however, Sunday also shared her hopes of going to college to follow in her mom’s footsteps and study filmmaking.
