Mrunal Thakur REACTS to marriage rumours with Dhanush, thanks those ‘spreading fake news’

Mrunal Thakur recently reacted to rumours of her marriage with Dhanush, calling them amusing. She said love will happen when the time is right and joked, “Woh to shaadi ho rahi hai.” Mrunal added she had to hire a PR team after her address leaked and thanked those “spreading fake rumours” for free publicity.

Mrunal Thakur recently spoke about the rumours linking her to Dhanush and said she couldn’t help but laugh at them. With her new film releasing in less than a week, the internet has been buzzing for the past few days about her supposed wedding. Some reports even claimed that she and Dhanush were getting married on Valentine’s Day. In a recent interview, Mrunal said she found the rumours amusing and shared a message for those spreading them.

Mrunal Thakur reacts to viral wedding rumours

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Mrunal opened up about the ongoing rumours around her personal life. The actress said she believes love will happen when the time is right. Reacting to the buzz on social media, she laughed and joked, “Woh to shaadi ho rahi hai (The wedding is taking place) according to them.” When asked if all the gossip bothers her, Mrunal revealed that she recently had to hire a PR team for her own safety after her home address was made public. “Up until now, I didn’t have a PR team. I had to hire a team to sort things out because my home address was out in public. To protect myself, I had to hire a team,” she said. She added with humour, “But, I have realised that even if I spend Rs 3 crore, Rs 6 crore, Rs 10 crore, itni publicity mujhe kabhi nahi milegi (I would never get such publicity). So, a big thank you to everybody who has been spreading fake rumours.”

Mrunal Thakur addresses constant gossip around her personal life

When asked about the constant buzz around her personal life, Mrunal chose to address it directly. “I don’t want to involve any other actor in this, but I do want to say that I am a very open person. If there is anything in my life, I will put it out. I don’t get annoyed at all. I laugh it out. If I spend my energies on those rumours, I will not be able to focus on my career,” she said. Wrapping up with a thoughtful note, Mrunal added, “I am here romancing the camera, and the only constant partner I want to have with me is the camera.” Despite repeated speculation linking her to Dhanush in recent months, both actors have continued to stay silent on the matter.

Mrunal Thakur gears up for her next film ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’

Mrunal Thakur’s next project is ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’, a romantic drama in which she stars alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi. The film, directed by Ravi Udyawar and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is set to hit theatres on February 20. Go to Source
