Mohanlal starrer ‘Drishyam 3 ‘ teaser release announced

‘Drishyam 3’ teaser date locked: Find when to watch the teaser of the much awaited Mohanlal starrer crime thriller

Mohanlal starrer much anticipated ‘Drishyam 3’ directed by Jeethu Joseph will be hitting the big screens next month. As fans have been eagerly waiting for the makers to begin their promotional content, the makers recently announced the teaser’s release date and time.

Mohanlal took to his X formerly Twitter handle to share that the teaser of the film will be released on April 29, that is Wednesday at 5 in the evening. Sharing a poster, they wrote, “The official teaser of Drishyam 3 arrives this Wednesday, April 29, at 5 PM IST. Stay tuned. #Drishyam3 | Worldwide Release | May 21st 2026.”

Makers talk about ‘Drishyam 3’

Speaking of the third instalment, the director Jeethu Joseph earlier shared a small idea about the story. He suggested that it will focus on Georgekutty’s life (character played by Mohanlal) after four and a half years. This means the film will show what happens next in his life. Producer Antony Perumbavoor also shared his thoughts that after the response the earlier two films got, it made them explore Georgekutty’s journey more.Mohanlal finished shooting his part in December last year. A video of him cutting a cake with the team became popular online. He started the film just before getting the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. The movie was launched with a puja near Kochi. The team shot the film in places like Thodupuzha, Vagamon, and Ernakulam. All these places give a natural feel to the story. ‘Drishyam 3’ will release in theatres on May 21, 2026. This day is special because it is Mohanlal’s 66th birthday. The film was first planned to be released on April 2, but it got delayed due to the tense situation in the Gulf.

‘Drishyam’ is a very popular crime thriller. The first film came out in 2013 and the second part came in 2021. The story is about Georgekutty, a simple cable TV operator who lives with his wife and two daughters. His life changes in a big way. Now, the third part will show what happens next in his story. Fans are waiting to see how things unfold this time.
