‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ box office collection Day 4

According to early estimates, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ collected an impressive Rs 76 crore net on Day 4 (Sunday) across 18,051 shows. The film’s gross collections on the other hand, hit an estimated Rs 90.89 crore, while registering a strong 78.7% occupancy nationwide.With Sunday’s collections, the superhero blockbuster has now amassed an estimated Rs 207.95 crore net and Rs 313.24 crore gross in India within just four days of its release.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ English and Hindi versions dominate box office

The English version once again led the collections, contributing an estimated Rs 40 crore net to the film’s Sunday total. The Hindi dubbed version followed closely with an impressive Rs 29 crore, while the Telugu and Tamil versions earned approximately Rs 3.25 crore and Rs 3.55 crore, respectively. The Malayalam and Kannada dubbed versions collectively added around Rs 20 lakh to the film’s Day 4 total.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ sees good weekend growth

Sunday’s Rs 76 crore net collection marked an 8.2% jump over Saturday’s Rs 70.25 crore net haul. The weekend numbers significantly surpassed both the film’s record-breaking opening day collection of Rs 60.60 crore net and its Friday dip to Rs 49.35 crore net.

The Marvel blockbuster has rewritten the record books by becoming the first Hollywood film to register a Rs 300 crore-plus opening weekend in India, beating the liked of even ‘Avengers: Endgame’.The film has dominated virtually every major circuit across the country, with the English and Hindi versions raking in a bulk of the collections.

The film’s record-breaking Indian performance mirrors its equally sensational run worldwide.
