Mika recalls SRK making coffee for him during first meeting

Mika Singh recalls Shah Rukh Khan personally making coffee for him during their first meeting: 'Who does that? He completely won my heart'

Mika Singh fondly remembers Shah Rukh Khan’s promise of gifting him a bike and recounts their first meeting at Yash Raj Studios, where SRK personally welcomed him and made him coffee. He also recalls SRK’s surprise visit to his set while he was working with Himesh Reshammiya, showcasing SRK’s humility and warmth.

Singer Mika Singh recently opened up about some special moments he has shared with Shah Rukh Khan. In a candid chat, he recalled light-hearted promises, unexpected gestures, and memories that left a lasting impression—showing a side of SRK that fans rarely get to see.

Mika Singh recalls SRK’s promise

In an interview with Galatta India, Mika humorously reminded Shah Rukh of his old promise to gift him a bike, noting that SRK had once mentioned giving bikes to him, Abhishek Bachchan, and John Abraham. Joking that John may have already received his, Mika said he would even accept a bike without wheels just to feel that his brother had kept his word.

First meeting at Yash Raj Studios

The singer further recalled his first meeting with SRK at Yash Raj Studios, a memory he treasures deeply. He shared how SRK personally welcomed him, played him the song Challa from Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and even made coffee for him with his own hands—an unexpected gesture that left Mika truly touched. He added that this warmth is typical of SRK, who remembers everyone he meets with the same humility.

A surprise visit on set

Another cherished memory for Mika dates back to a day when he and Shah Rukh were shooting in the same studio complex. Mika was working on a Himesh Reshammiya project when SRK, after finishing his own shoot, personally came over to meet him. The gesture surprised even Himesh, who hadn’t worked with SRK before. Word soon spread, drawing a crowd outside to see the superstar. Since SRK’s car was stuck, Mika offered his own, calling it a privilege. That car, he says, remains one of his most treasured possessions and is something he will never part with.
