The automaker said domestic wholesales in the first half of 2026 rose 61 per cent year-on-year to 25,844 units.Renault India on Wednesday reported a 55 per cent year-on-year increase in domestic wholesale sales to 4,063 units in June, extending its streak of double-digit monthly growth to ten consecutive months.
The automaker said domestic wholesales in the first half of 2026 rose 61 per cent year-on-year to 25,844 units.
During the month, the company also began exports of the all-new Renault Duster, dispatching the first shipment of 750 units to South Africa.
Renault said the sustained growth was driven by continued customer acceptance of its evolving product strategy and strengthening demand across its portfolio.
“The continued double-digit growth reflects the strength of our product portfolio and the trust customers have placed in the Renault brand. The commencement of exports of the all-new Renault Duster marks another important milestone for our India operations and reinforces the country’s role as a key manufacturing and export hub for the Renault Group,” the company said.
The company added that the June performance underscores the growing contribution of its India business to Renault Group’s global operations as it continues to expand both domestic and export volumes.
