Madhuri Dixit reveals she got married into a family where everyone was working; says they understood she needed to have her identity

Madhuri Dixit reflected on the importance of family support after her marriage to Dr. Sriram Nene. She said marriage makes one part of a unified whole and progress becomes difficult without that unit’s backing. Madhuri added that she feels fortunate to have received strong encouragement from her in-laws, which she considers essential for pursuing her goals.

Madhuri Dixit got married to Dr Sriram Nene at the peak of her career in 1999. Soon, the actress was back in Mumbai to revive her work journey. In a recent conversation, she revealed that her in-laws encouraged her to regain her identity. Here’s what Madhuri Dixit said about her in-laws

Madhuri Dixit reveals getting support from her in-laws

In an interview with Ranveer Allahabadia, Madhuri Dixit opened up about having support from the in-laws after marriage with Dr Sriram Nene. She shared, “When you get married, you become a part of a unit, and whatever you do, that unit will always be a part of it.”The actress stated that unless a person has support from that unit, the individual cannot move forward. She added, “Their support is extremely essential if you want to do something with your life. So I always say that I am very lucky that when I got married, I got enough support from my in-laws.”

Madhuri Dixit revealed that her mother-in-law’s age is above 80 and she still works in real estate in the US. The actress shared that hr father-in-law got retired at 83 recently.Elaborating on the same, the ‘Dhak Dhak’ girl of Bollywood stated that she got married into a family where everyone was working and understood “that it is very important for a woman to have her identity.” Showering praise on her husband’s parents, she said, “They know that I will handle the house, but it is very important that I, as an individual, am doing something, and I’m happy with that. I, as an individual, am working for my unit as well because you are also contributing to your own unit.”
