Plot and concept breakdown of Vignesh Shivan’s film

The film explores a futuristic idea blending romance with technology-driven compatibility systems. ETimes synopsis reads, “Can an app truly replace the heart in matters of love? Suriyan (SJ Suryah), the creator of the compatibility app LIK, certainly believes so. But Vibe Vassey (Pradeep Ranganathan), the voice of the app and the son of a naturalist (Seeman), challenges that idea when the algorithm declares him incompatible with Dheema (Krithi Shetty) — the woman who quite literally stops his heart.”The movie is getting mixed reviews online. One wrote, “A Half-Baked Future. The futuristic rom-com Love Insurance Kompany is a mixed experience that squanders a brilliant premise on a weak and shallow screenplay. While the idea of a world where love is controlled by a high-tech app is “terrific” for a sci-fi script, the film fails to give the story any real emotional depth.”Another one wrote, “Seriously, i didn’t have that much expectation for this movie because it was postponed so much , pacing of the movie is very slow at points and it gets boring, krithi shetty is hot as always, Pradeep and SJ Surya mostly carried the movie from getting too boring, some jokes work some dont, the story has potential but it was wasted due to one of the most overrated director Vignesh Shivan, his movies TSK and Naanum Rowdy dhan was good TSk was ok, but after that he is just overrated, and this movie is not like the other Pradeep Ranganathan movies its not as fun or engaging as Dude,Dragon, and Love Today.”DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers and the data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
