Kris Jenner secures restraining order against alleged stalker

Kris Jenner and her children granted a restraining order against an alleged stalker after repeated incidents

Kris Jenner has obtained a restraining order for herself and her children against a man accused of stalking the family. The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch, 70, along with Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall and Rob, were all granted protection from Kyle Robert DeWick after the alleged stalker made repeated attempts to gain access to the family, including five attempts to enter 28-year-old Kylie’s home, which ultimately led to his arrest.According to The Mirror, under the terms of the restraining order, granted on Friday morning, DeWick cannot contact the family and must stay at least 100 yards from their homes, workplaces, vehicles and persons.

What Kris Jenner said in court about the alleged stalker

In court, Kris stated that she had been “informed that DeWick has a criminal history, including for a violent assault,” and made clear he has “no relationship whatsoever” with her family. She described feeling “terrified” by his behaviour and said she has suffered “severe emotional distress and anxiety” as a result of his actions.DeWick allegedly claimed that Kris had encouraged him to propose to Kylie and accused her of “interfering” in what he described as a relationship between himself and the makeup mogul. Kris firmly denied the claim. “I certainly would never tell a stranger to go to my daughter’s home,” she said. She also noted that DeWick had attempted to contact the family’s neighbours and had toured a home within a mile of their properties. In her filing, Kris included a copy of what she claimed to be DeWick’s own petition, in which he wrote about being encouraged “to fall in love with someone who publicly stated they agreed” and who he claimed had chosen to “impregnate themselves without me, as an affront.”

What investigators found about Kyle Robert DeWick

Investigator John Romero, hired by Kris, stated that DeWick had toured a home adjacent to Kim’s property, a residence formerly owned by Kanye West, her ex-husband and father of her four children.DeWick also reportedly claimed that a member of the Kardashian-Jenner family “is in love with him and has been pursuing him for years.” Romero believes the family member in question to be Kylie, who is currently in a relationship with actor Timothee Chalamet. The couple recently attended a New York Knicks game together.DeWick had also allegedly taken legal action of his own, filing a federal petition accusing the family of “surveilling” him and disrupting what he described as his relationship with Kylie. He reportedly sought access to the family through the filing. The restraining order comes amid an already difficult period for the family, with Kris and Kim also facing a legal setback in their ongoing lawsuit against rapper Ray J.
