'Dude' OTT release date official; When and where to watch Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju's film

Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju’s hit love-comedy ‘Dude’ is now heading to Netflix on November 14, 2025, after a successful theatrical run. The film, which explores modern relationships and family dynamics, will be available in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. It achieved a remarkable Rs 100 crore at the box office.

The love-comedy film ‘Dude’, which ran successfully in theaters, will soon be released on OTT platforms. The film, directed by Keerthiswaran, stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles. The film was released worldwide on October 17, 2025, on the occasion of Diwali. Now, the much-awaited OTT release for fans is set to take place on Netflix on November 14, 2025. The film will be released in five languages – Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Netflix shared the release announcement on social media with the humorous line, “One DUDE, one thousand problems, no solutions.”

Strong cast and impressive technical crew elevate the film

‘Dude’ stars Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, along with R. Sarathkumar, Rohini, Hridhu Haroon, Aishwarya Sharma, Dravid Selvam, Neha Shetty, and many others. This is Keerthiswaran’s debut venture as a director, and Sai Abhyankar composed the music. Nikketh Bommi handled the cinematography, while Bharath Vikraman handled the editing. The set design was done by Latha Naidu, the costume design by Poonima Ramasamy, and the art design by P.L. Subendar. Subendar.

Story explores love, family ties, and modern-day emotions

‘Dude’ centers around an event planning company run by two cousins – Agan and Kural. Even after career success, family expectations, social pressures, and personal emotions cause problems in their lives. The film interestingly depicts how these affect their relationship and future. The film, which depicts love, relationships, family bonds, and growth with a humorous twist, reflects the life circumstances of today’s youth.

Box office hit with Rs 100 crore success

‘Dude’, released during the Diwali holiday week, was well-received in theaters and became a big hit among the youth. The family-friendly storyline and the charming pairing of Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju made the film a hit. ‘Dude’ surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark in 10 days, becoming the third consecutive film of Pradeep Ranganathan to achieve this feat.
