Aditya Dhar’s directorial ‘Dhurandhar’ may have started on a decent note, but nobody anticipated the film to go on a record-breaking spree. The film starring Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, grew after the first weekend through word of mouth and there’s just no looking back. So much so, that it made more money on its second Friday than the opening day. It doesn’t end there. The film had the biggest second weekend with more than Rs 110 crore made on day 9 and day 10, Saturday and Sunday combined.Dhurandhar Movie Review ‘Dhurandhar’ made Rs 207 crore in the span of one week. On its second Friday, it made Rs 32 crore while it made a whopping Rs 53 crore on second Saturday which was a growth of 63 percent from the Friday numbers. Infact, this is much more than the first Saturday numbers. On Sunday, it is expected to make even more. On second Sunday, the film has made around Rs 59 crore. This is huge as the film has now recorded the biggest second Sunday and the biggest second weekend number, which is more than Rs 100 crore. It won’t be shocking now if it soon enters the Rs 500 crore club soon. With this second weekend number, it has broken the record of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ and became the biggest second weekend ever for a film. After this massive second weekend, the film has begun on a decent note on second Monday. It has made Rs 3.75 crore till afternoon. The total collection now stands at Rs 354.5 crore.
