‘Cocktail 2’ team to make arrangements for Delhi AQI issue

The ‘Cocktail 2’ team, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna, has wrapped up its Europe schedule and is heading to Delhi and Gurugram. To combat the city’s poor air quality, makers are implementing special measures including air purifiers in vanity vans, mandatory mask-wearing, and water sprinklers on outdoor sets to ensure a safe shooting environment.

Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna are currently working on their next film, ‘Cocktail 2’. The actors have reportedly finished their Europe shooting schedule of the movie. As per the latest report, the next leg is in Delhi and Gurugram. And if reports are to be believed, the makers are taking extra special efforts to deal with the city’s poor AQI (Air Quality Index).

‘Cocktail 2’ team will make special arrangements to fight Delhi’s poor AQI

According to the Hindustan Times report, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna will start shooting in Delhi. Reportedly, it will be an outdoor shoot. A source told the publication, “They will be shooting in Chhatarpur and Gurugram, apart from some other locations in South Delhi.”The report further stated that since the city’s AQI level has crossed 300 in Delhi, the film team will be making special arrangements for better air quality. Reportedly, the makers will be setting up air purifiers in vanity vans and rooms. The film team will ask everyone to wear masks on the set. As per the report, the production team will work on keeping the safe and productive shoot time. The source told the website, “There will also be water sprinklers on sets, and will be used every day before shoots and if need be between takes to ensure a safer environment.”

The film will be the second installment of the franchise, with the first one starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Diana Penty. It was released in the year 2012. Homi Adajania will be back as director for the second part. A few months ago, pictures of Shahid and Kriti from the sets of ‘Cocktail 2’ in Sicily, Italy, went viral on the internet. This is the first time Shahid will be collaborating with Rashmika Mandanna, while he has already worked with Kriti Sanon in ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’ in 2024.
