From the fantasy entertainer ‘Genie’ to the action drama ‘Karathey Babu,’ the actor confirmed that work is moving as planned. He also surprised fans by announcing that ‘Bro Code’ has officially been retitled ‘Bro Club.’ Apart from acting, Ravi Mohan is also gearing up for his directorial debut, making this one of the busiest phases of his career. Sharing the latest status of his projects in an interview with Cinema Vikatan, Ravi Mohan said, “Post-production work for Genie is progressing well. ‘Karathey Babu’ has just one song left to be filmed, and we are planning to release it in about two months. Bro Code has now been renamed Bro Club. We have completed two shooting schedules, while two more schedules are still pending.” He also revealed another exciting addition to his line-up, saying, “Yogi Babu is also part of my next film directed by Shyam Kumar.” The announcements created a lot of excitement among fans who have been waiting anxiously for news about the actor’s upcoming releases.

Ravi Mohan shares the story behind his directorial debut

Ravi Mohan, helming his first film, ‘An Ordinary Man,’ touched upon the film’s central idea but didn’t reveal too much. The story is about an ordinary man’s character who becomes extraordinary. This is the transition from an average man to an amazing man to a God. The film asks a simple question—what is the purpose of life, and what are we giving back to the life we have lived so far?” he said. Ravi also expressed his happiness about directing Yogi Babu, adding that the actor has a powerful performer beyond his comedy image. The actor thinks the movie will reveal an entirely new dimension of Yogi Babu, which the audience has never seen before.
