Reflecting on past marriages

On Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show Two Much, Aamir recalled his ‘traumatic’ breakup with ex-wives Reena and Kiran. He said, “I am not in a bad condition. I have been lucky that the two women I have been married to are really wonderful women, both Reena and Kiran are wonderful people. So even though we went through the breakup, we are still family.”

Elaborating further, he added, “When you are committed to a relationship then shaadi toh paper pe sign karke karte hai. If you are really connected with the person, sometimes it’s like marriage. Like Gauri and I are together, we are very highly committed to each other.”

Recently, Gauri was recently seen walking in Bandra but seemed annoyed as photographers followed her. She firmly said, “Arrey, leave me alone naa, I am just going for a walk.” After asking the paparazzi not to take her photos, she continued her walk and left.The couple has been dating for quite some time now. He confirmed their relationship on his 60th birthday, and they have since made several public appearances together. Meanwhile, Aamir was first married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid and Ira, before divorcing in 2002. He then married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005; they separated in 2021 but continue to co-parent their son, Azad.
