Alia Bhatt recently made a much-talked-about appearance on the first episode of India’s Got Latent Season 2 alongside Sharvari as the duo promoted their upcoming film Alpha. The episode turned out to be a massive hit, garnering over 43 million views on YouTube alone. Now, behind-the-scenes clips from the show are making waves online, with one particular moment featuring Alia grabbing fans’ attention.

Alia Bhatt recalls watching Latent on a flight

In a BTS clip from the show, Alia revealed that she first watched India’s Got Latent while travelling on a flight and found herself laughing uncontrollably.Speaking to Samay Raina, the actress said, “I have only watched Latent, by the way, on my flight. You sent me that episode, which I watched; I was laughing loudly (imitates herself) and, like, not realising Raha is sleeping next to me, with my headphones, disturbing everybody.”

Alia Bhatt calls Samay Raina’s Still Alive ‘pure art’

In another viral clip from the episode’s behind-the-scenes footage, Alia showered praise on Samay’s stand-up special Still Alive, describing it as “pure art.”Curious about the creative process behind the special, she asked Samay how it was filmed and edited.”So the special you did in multiple cities around the world—and then you take one version and put it out? So the one we saw was already performed a couple of times?” Alia asked. To this, Samay revealed that the set had actually been performed around 200 times before the final version was released.

Samay opens up about emotional moments in the special

Alia also wanted to know how Samay handled the emotionally charged sections of his performance. The comedian shared that while most parts of the special were carefully written and thought through, one particular segment was intentionally left untouched.”So what I would do is everything else in that special I would write and think about. Except that one chunk. I never wrote that chunk or thought about it off-stage. I would just do that part on stage and put myself back in that room,” he explained.Samay further revealed that revisiting those memories would make him emotional every single time.”I used to think about that room, just place myself in that room and that used to make me cry every time,” he said, adding that he got emotional and cried during every performance of that segment. Following the overwhelming response to its premiere episode, India’s Got Latent Season 2 has generated significant buzz among viewers. The show will release new episodes every week simultaneously on Samay Raina’s YouTube channel and Netflix. With the first episode already becoming a viral sensation, fans are eagerly waiting to see what surprises the upcoming episodes have in store. Go to Source
