Neeraj Chopra Diamond League Final Live: Neeraj Chopra will be hoping to add a second Diamond League title to his crowded trophy and medal cabinet when he competes in a stacked seven-man field in the final of the 2025 edition in Zurich on Thursday. Neeraj Chopra Diamond League Final Live: Neeraj Chopra will be hoping to add the 2025 Diamond League title to his crowded trophy and medal cabinet when he competes in the seven-man javelin throw final in Zurich, Switzerland on Thursday. Two-time Olympic medallist Chopra will also be hoping to make up for the heartbreak he had suffered in last year’s final in Brussels, where he had lost the top spot out to Grenada’s Anderson Peters by the barest of margins.

It’s been a season to remember for Chopra for the 2025 Diamond League, with the 27-year-old javelin star having finally breached the 90-metre mark for the first time in his career at the Doha meet in May. The incredible throw, however, was not enough for Chopra to stand on top of the podium as he finished second, with Germany’s Julian Weber taking the top spot with a throw measuring 91.06 metres.

Chopra, however, won the Paris meet a month later with a best throw of 88.16m, which ensured his place in the seven-man final in Zurich. He was supposed to compete alongside Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem at the Silesia meet in Poland earlier this month, only for the two rivals to withdraw from what would have been their first meeting since last year’s Paris Olympics.
