Ballon d’Or 2025 Rankings: Dembele wins, Salah finishes fourth — complete for men’s and women’s standings

The full rankings of the Ballon d’Or 2025 have been released. Ousmane Dembele and Aitana Bonmati won the men’s and women’s Ballon d’Or 2025 respectively.

Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Paris Saint-Germain’s Vitinha came very close, but it was PSG forward Ousmane Dembele who won the 2025 men’s Ballon d’Or at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris on Monday. Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah was the highest-rated player from the English Premier League as he finished fourth in the final Ballon d’Or ranking list.

The men’s Ballon d’Or final list included five PSG players in the top 10, highlighting their brilliant last season in which they won the Champions League, in addition to capturing the Ligue 1. Apart from Dembele and Vitinha, Achraf Hakimi, Gianluigi Donnarumma (who joined Manchester City in the summer) and Nuno Mendes are also part of the top 10.

Besides Lamal and Salah, the other non-PSG layers in the top are Barcelona’s Raphinha, Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea’s Cole Palmer.

“I really don’t have the words. It was an incredible season with PSG,” Dembele said after winning the Ballon d’Or. “It is an individual trophy but it was really the collective that won it.”

“The Ballon d’Or has not really been an objective for me in my career but I worked hard for the team to win the Champions League,” he added.

PSG were also awarded the club of the year award while manager Luis Enrique was declared the men’s coach of the year.

The women’s Ballon d’Or full 2025 went to Barcelona’s Aitana Bonmati for a third consecutive year as she emulated club legend Lionel Messi. She edged out Arsenal’s Mariona Caldentey and Alessia Russo to the top prize.
