Organized by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association (KHASA), it gives participants a chance to win cash prizes while promoting archery among the youth. HOW TO PLAY SHILLONG LOTTERY?
- Shillong Teer is played in two short rounds, each lasting around two minutes.
- In the first round, archers shoot 30 arrows and in the second, 20 arrows.
- Players pick a number between 0 and 99, aiming to predict how many arrows will hit the target.
- Tickets are available at licensed counters in Rs 1, 5, 10, 20 and 50 denominations.
- Prize money varies based on the bet and prediction accuracy, for instance, a correct guess in the first round with a Rs 1 ticket wins Rs 80 and Rs 60 for the second round.
Predicting both rounds correctly can earn up to Rs 4,000 from a Rs 1 ticket. Other popular Teer games include Juwai Teer, Khanapara Teer, Ladrymbai Teer and Night Teer.
