Andhra Pradesh man died in police custody following his arrest at a gambling center. His family protests at Singanamala police station, alleging police brutality.

Tensions prevail at Anantapur District of Andhra Pradesh after a man died in police custody.  The man named Ramakrishna was arrested during a police raid on a gambling center. Following his arrest on Monday, he died in police custody.

His relatives are staging a demonstration against the police.

Ramakrishna reportedly passed away while undergoing treatment at the Singanamala Government Hospital. His relatives have alleged that he was summoned to the police station and beaten by the police.

In response, the victim’s family staged a protest at the Singanamala police station, demanding justice for Ramakrishna.
