New Delhi: VinFast has launched a ‘value assured’ programme in India for its electric SUVs, the VinFast VF6 and VinFast VF7, in a bid to address customer concerns around residual value and long-term ownership costs, according to company’s Instagram post.

Under the scheme, the Vietnam-based company is offering an assured resale value of up to 75 per cent, depending on tenure and terms, along with structured buyback options ranging from two to five years. Customers upgrading to another VinFast vehicle will be eligible for a 3 per cent loyalty benefit, while those switching from petrol or diesel models can avail exchange support of up to ₹1.30 lakh.

The initiative comes amid intensifying competition in India’s electric vehicle market, where automakers are increasingly introducing ownership-focused schemes to boost buyer confidence.

On the product front, the VF6 is powered by a 59.6 kWh battery pack paired with a front-mounted motor, delivering up to 204 hp and 310 Nm in higher trims. It offers an ARAI-certified range of up to 468 km and supports DC fast charging from 10 to 70 per cent in 25 minutes.

The VF7 lineup ranges from a 59.6 kWh front-wheel-drive variant to a 70.8 kWh all-wheel-drive version producing up to 353 hp and 500 Nm. The top trims claim a range of up to 532 km and can complete a 10 to 70 per cent DC charge in around 28 minutes.
