Lac Hong 900SVinFast on Tuesday said it has restructured its automotive portfolio into three strategic brand lines and unveiled two new ultra-luxury models — the Lac Hong 800S and Lac Hong 900S — as part of its effort to strengthen its product positioning across different vehicle segments.
The two models expand the company’s Lac Hong ultra-luxury lineup and are expected to be launched commercially in 2027, the company said on Tuesday.
Under the new structure, VinFast has divided its automotive portfolio into three distinct brand lines.
The Lac Hong brand will represent the company’s ultra-luxury segment and currently includes the 900 LX, 900S and 800S models.
The VF line will continue to serve as VinFast’s mass-market passenger electric vehicle range, covering models from the compact VF 3 to the larger VF 9, including the seven-seat VF MPV 7.
Meanwhile, the Green brand will focus on commercial mobility solutions designed for services and fleet applications. This portfolio includes vehicles such as Limo Green, Herio Green, Nerio Green and Minio Green.
The company said the structured approach will support clearer product positioning as it expands across global markets.

Two new ultra-luxury models
The newly unveiled Lac Hong 800S and Lac Hong 900S join the Lac Hong luxury collection, complementing the flagship Lac Hong 900 LX introduced in 2025. According to VinFast, the models are inspired by Vietnam’s cultural heritage and aim to combine national design elements with modern automotive engineering.
The Lac Hong 800S features a bold and contemporary design, while the Lac Hong 900S adopts a more classical styling theme focused on elegance and refinement.
Both vehicles feature design elements inspired by Vietnamese cultural motifs, including a grille with vertical slats referencing bamboo, an emblem inspired by the Lac bird and decorative patterns derived from the Dong Son bronze drum and terraced rice fields.
The “Lac Hong” branding is presented in calligraphic styling and crafted in gold-plated alloy.
Luxury interiors and advanced features
Inside the cabin, both models feature premium materials such as Nappa leather, rare woods and gold-plated accents.
They also offer luxury features including zero-gravity executive seating, automatic power-assisted doors and premium entertainment systems.
The Lac Hong 900S includes additional features such as a privacy partition between the cockpit and rear cabin, a starlight headliner, a projection-based entertainment system and a foldable executive workstation designed for rear passengers.
VinFast said these elements are intended to transform the vehicles into mobile environments suitable for both travel and productivity.
Performance and powertrain
Both models will feature a fully active suspension system designed to enhance ride comfort and vehicle stability.
They can be configured with a tri-motor electric powertrain consisting of one front motor and two rear motors, delivering a combined output of up to 460 kW.
The configuration is designed to deliver performance levels aligned with the vehicles’ ultra-luxury positioning.
Duong Thi Thu Trang, Deputy CEO of Global Automotives at VinFast, said the restructuring marks a new phase in the company’s development.
“Following a period of accelerated growth — achieving the number one position in Vietnam and establishing our presence in key regional markets — the completion of our three-brand structure lays the foundation for our next phase of development,” she said.
VinFast has introduced more than 15 electric vehicle models to date and has maintained the top position in Vietnam’s auto market for 16 consecutive months.
