Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line secure 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating

Hyundai Motor India (HMIL) on Monday said Venue and Venue N Line have secured a 5-star safety rating under the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat NCAP).

The company said both models delivered strong performance across crash test parameters, offering high levels of protection for adult and child occupants.

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said the 5-star rating reflects the company’s commitment to improving safety standards in line with Indian road conditions.

“Congratulations to Hyundai Motor India Limited on achieving 5Star Bharat NCAP safety rating for both adult and child occupant for their recently launched Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line,” Gadkari said.

He added that the achievement highlights Hyundai’s focus on enhancing vehicle safety while making advanced safety technologies more accessible.

“We are extremely proud that the all-new Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line have secured 5 Star safety rating under Bharat NCAP testing, reaffirming our unwavering commitment to offer worldclass products to our customers,” said Tarun Garg, Managing Director & CEO, Hyundai Motor India.

Safety features on board

Hyundai said the all-new Venue range comes with over 65 advanced safety features, including 33 offered as standard across variants.

Key features include electronic stability control (ESC), hill-start assist control (HAC), electric parking brake with auto hold, surround-view monitor, all four-disc brakes, six airbags, tyre pressure monitoring system, electrochromic mirror with telematics switches, three-point seatbelts with reminders for all seats, and a rollover sensor.

The company also said the compact SUV is built with a reinforced body featuring 71 per cent hot-stamping, ultra-high-strength steel, advanced high-strength steel, and high-strength steel.

Hyundai said the all-new Venue has received over 1 lakh bookings since launch and has also won multiple industry awards.
