Škoda Auto India on Tuesday announced that its all-new Kylaq SUV will now be available through the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) network across the country, offering exclusive subsidised prices for members of the armed forces.

With prices starting at ₹8.09 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant, the Kylaq will be offered in Signature, Signature+, and Prestige trims under the CSD scheme.

Built on the MQB-A0-IN platform, the made-in-India Kylaq has earned a 5-star safety rating for both adult and child occupants under the Bharat NCAP protocols. The SUV is powered by a 1.0 TSI engine, available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed torque converter automatic transmission, and comes equipped with advanced safety features and dynamic handling.

The Canteen Stores Department, operating under the Ministry of Defence, provides a wide range of products to service personnel at concessional rates through its vast network of depots and online portal.

Škoda Auto India said the move aligns with its strategy to explore new business avenues, including pre-owned cars, government contracts, and fleet partnerships, alongside strengthening its presence in corporate and rural markets.

The brand currently offers four models in India—Kylaq, Slavia, Kushaq, and Kodiaq—and has more than 310 customer touchpoints across 177 cities.
