The Seltos will offer updated variants and familiar engine options. It aims to strengthen its position in the compact SUV market.

Kia has unveiled the next-generation 2026 Seltos in India with a complete design overhaul, new features and a longer body, making it one of the biggest SUVs in its segment. Bookings will open on December 11, while the company will announce prices on January 2, 2026. The SUV comes with updated variants, refreshed interiors and familiar engine options to keep its strong hold in the compact SUV market.

New Seltos 2026 expected prices

Kia is expected to price the new Seltos from around ₹11.2 lakh (ex-showroom). The official pricing will be revealed in early 2026. The model will continue to rival other compact SUVs in the segment.

2026 New Seltos variants: What’s on offer

The carmaker has carried over most of its variant lineup. Buyers can pick from HTE, HTE (O), HTK, HTK (O), HTX, HTX (A), GTX, GTX (A) and the X-Line styling pack.
Kia highlights three variants as key picks:

  • HTK (O): Balanced choice with essential features.
  • GTX A: Tech-loaded option for gadget lovers.
  • X-Line: Stealth-style package.

Kia New Seltos 2026: The biggest update

The Seltos now stretches to 4.4 metres, making it larger than the outgoing model in almost every dimension except height.
Here is how much it has grown:

  • Length: +95 mm
  • Width: +30 mm
  • Wheelbase: +80 mm
  • Boot space: +14 litres
  • Height: down by 10 mm

The increase gives the SUV a more imposing stance and adds more cabin space, especially for rear passengers.

New Seltos 2026 design

Kia calls this a revolutionary design shift. The 2026 Seltos drops its European-car style and adopts quirkier styling in line with newer Kias. Highlights include:

  • Welcome and goodbye light animations.
  • Headlights nearly integrated into the grille.
  • No connected LED DRL strip, unlike many modern cars.
  • New motorised flush door handles.
  • 16-inch steel wheels on lower trims, 17- and 18-inch alloys on higher trims.
  • Neon brake callipers on GTX variants.
  • Gloss-black body cladding.
  • A cleaner tailgate with number plate now on the bumper.
  • Ten monotone and two dual-tone colour options.

Kia New Seltos Interior: Familiar layout, smarter touches

While the exterior has gone bold, the interior takes an evolutionary approach. The cabin borrows cues from the Syros and EV6. Key interior bits:

  • EV6-style steering wheel.
  • Tri-screen layout from the Syros.
  • Physical controls for infotainment and air-conditioning.
  • Soft-touch dashboard materials.
  • 64-colour ambient lighting.
  • More rear seat space thanks to the longer wheelbase.

New Seltos 2026 features

The new Seltos continues the brand’s feature-rich tradition. Top features include:

  • 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen: Same as Syros, supports connected-car functions.
  • 12.3-inch digital driver display: Multiple views, lane-watch feed.
  • 5-inch climate control panel: More of a gimmick; physical controls still easier.
  • 8-speaker Bose system
  • 10-way powered driver seat with memory
  • Dual-pane panoramic sunroof
  • 64-colour ambient lighting
  • Head-up display

Other notable additions: ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging and drive/traction modes.

Kia New Seltos 2026 safety features

Kia continues with the same safety package, offering:

  • 6 airbags
  • Electronic parking brake with auto-hold (AT-only)
  • Front, rear and side parking sensors
  • TPMS
  • Hill descent control
  • All-wheel disc brakes
  • ESC and hill-start assist
  • 360-degree camera
  • Level-2 ADAS suite

New Sletos 2026 engines

The powertrain lineup stays unchanged:

Engine Power/Torque Gearbox options Buyer profile
1.5 NA petrol 115 PS / 144 Nm 6-MT, CVT Relaxed, refined choice
1.5 turbo-petrol 160 PS / 253 Nm 6-iMT, 7-DCT Fun-to-drive option
1.5 diesel 116 PS / 250 Nm 6-MT, 6-AT For high-usage drivers
