Inside, the Cooper S GP Inspired Edition gets GP-inspired illuminated door sills, ‘1/30’ floor mats, and a JCW steering wheel with paddle shifters.Mini India launched the Mini Cooper S GP Inspired Edition in the country, a special edition model inspired by the Mini GP, the brand’s fastest and most powerful performance car. The Mini Cooper S GP Inspired Edition has been priced at ₹58.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
The limited-run edition will be restricted to just 30 units and will be available as a completely built-up unit (CBU). It was launched at Mini India’s newly inaugurated dealership in Surat — Mini Eminent Cars. The company said deliveries will commence immediately.

Features
The special edition comes exclusively in Legend Grey exterior paint with multiple elements in Chilli Red, including the roof and mirror caps. It also features GP-inspired bonnet and side stripes, along with a “1/30” badge on the C-pillar, highlighting its limited-edition status.
Design highlights include JCW spoiler extension, front, side and rear winglets, and a JCW rear diffuser, giving it a more aggressive stance. Inside, the Cooper S GP Inspired Edition gets GP-inspired illuminated door sills, ‘1/30’ floor mats, and a JCW steering wheel with paddle shifters.
The cabin is anchored by a 240 mm circular OLED touchscreen called the Mini Interaction Unit, running on Mini Operating System 9, optimised for touchscreen and voice control. It also supports the Mini Intelligent Personal Assistant activated by “Hey Mini”.
Other key features include a Head-up Display, Harman Kardon surround sound system, wireless smartphone charging, Mini Digital Key Plus, and connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The car also features a fisheye cabin camera that can capture photos and videos.
Engine and performance
Powering the Cooper S GP Inspired Edition is a 2.0-litre Mini TwinPower Turbo petrol engine producing 150 kW (204 hp) and 300 Nm of torque.
It accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.6 seconds and has a top speed of 242 kmph. The engine is paired with a 7-speed double clutch Steptronic Sport transmission.
The car comes equipped with adaptive suspension and JCW sport brakes.
Mini said the special edition comes with a two-year unlimited kilometre warranty and two years of 24×7 roadside assistance, which are transferable. Service inclusive plans start from 3 years/40,000 km, with extension available up to 10 years/1,00,000 km.
Mini India also said customers can opt for the Mini 360-degree finance plan through BMW India Financial Services, offering flexible EMIs and buyback options.
