JSW MG Motor India recorded a 9 per cent year-on-year increase in wholesale sales in January 2026, driven by steady demand across its electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) portfolio and growing traction in its premium segment.

The company sold 4,843 units during the month, supported by continued demand for models such as the MG Windsor electric vehicle and the Hector SUV. Its premium retail channel, MG SELECT, also reported strong momentum, led by interest in the Cyberster electric sports car and the M9 limousine.

The automaker said it is preparing to expand its SUV portfolio with the launch of the MG Majestor, a D+ SUV scheduled for introduction in February.

JSW MG Motor India, a joint venture between SAIC Motor and the JSW Group, has been focusing on strengthening its product mix and expanding its presence in both mass and premium categories amid intensifying competition in India’s passenger vehicle market.
