BMW India launches limited ‘50 Jahre’ editions of 3 Series starting at ₹64 lakh

Only 50 units of each edition– BMW 330Li M Sport and BMW M340i–will be available, produced locally at BMW Group Plant Chennai and sold exclusively through the BMW Online Shop.

BMW India on Monday introduced special ‘50 Jahre’ Editions of the BMW 3 Series Long Wheelbase (330Li M Sport) and BMW M340i to mark the model’s 50th anniversary. Only 50 units of each edition will be available, produced locally at BMW Group Plant Chennai. They will be sold exclusively through the BMW Online Shop.

The BMW 330Li M Sport ‘50 Jahre’ Edition is priced at ₹64 lakh (ex-showroom), while the BMW M340i ‘50 Jahre’ Edition costs ₹76.9 lakh. Both variants feature exclusive design cues, limited ‘1/50’ laser-engraved badging, and performance enhancements.

The 330Li edition comes with M High Gloss Shadowline, carbon fibre trim, a panoramic sunroof, and a 258 hp 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine capable of 0-100 kmph in 6.2 seconds. The M340i edition delivers 374 hp and 500 Nm torque from its 3.0-litre straight-six engine, sprinting 0-100 kmph in 4.4 seconds, according to the company’s statement.

BMW India President & CEO Vikram Pawah said: “They are an ode to the unmistakable design, dynamic performance, and perfect balance of practicality and technology that have made the 3 an icon.”

Customers of the M340i edition will also receive a 1:18 scale model of the BMW 3.0 CSL as part of the anniversary gesture.
