Bollywood came together with heavy hearts to bid farewell to veteran actor Dharmendra, who passed away on November 24 at the age of 89. A special prayer meet called ‘Celebration of Life’ was held on November 27, where his family, friends, and admirers gathered to remember him and pay tribute to his remarkable journey and legacy.
Dharmendra’s prayer meet at Taj Lands End
The ceremony was held on the lawns of Taj Lands End in Bandra, where the Deol family arranged a peaceful and intimate space for everyone to gather. Dharmendra’s children Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeet, and Vijeta, from his first wife Prakash Kaur stood together as they remembered their father.
Sonu Nigam’s emotional tribute

Dharmendra’s passing
Dharmendra, who was nearing his 90th birthday on December 8, passed away shortly after his health took a sudden turn for the worse while he was recuperating at home. The veteran actor had recently been discharged from Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital and was cremated on November 25 in the city.
