In Ayodhya, devotees from various parts of the country including Vrindavan, Gorakhpur, and Mithila gathered at the Ram Mandir with immense enthusiasm as the atmosphere echoed with devotional songs and celebrations. Women devotees sang self-composed bhajans praising Prime Minister Modi for fulfilling the long-awaited dream of the Ram Temple, with lines like “Mandir par jhanda lehrayi diyo re, Modi ji akela” expressing their joy. Devotees from Mithila also performed traditional songs celebrating the divine connection between Mithila and Ayodhya, recalling the marriage of Sita and Ram. Sadhus and women saints shared their excitement, chanting bhajans and speaking about their spiritual joy. Groups of young men proudly sang “Jai Shri Ram,” expressing the pride of witnessing this historic moment after a 500-year struggle.
