The much-anticipated digital release of ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ has been confirmed. Ending its theatrical run in less than two months, the film is expected to bring in a huge viewership from around the world, considering its lead pairing of Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor and its light-hearted rom-com appeal.

Theatrical run and festival release

The movie first released in cinemas on October 2, 2025, to coincide with Dussehra. The Shashank Khaitan-directed film opened to lackluster box office figures and mixed reviews. But the potent combo of star power, youthful energy, and a tried-and-tested romantic-comedy template has set the stage for a much stronger digital reception once it starts streaming.Apart from the lead pair, the movie also starred Sanya Malhotra as Ananya Bhatia and Rohit Saraf as Vikram Singh. The cast also included Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi in supporting roles.

When and where to watch the film on OTT

According to the report, ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ will be available to watch from November 27, 2025. The movie will stream on Netflix.

Box office clash

The film clashed with Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara: Chapter 1’. The film also starred Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, and Gulshan Devaiah. The movie went on to score huge at the box office as compared to ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’. While the Bollywood movie earned Rs 98.35 crore at the box office worldwide, Shetty’s flick raked in Rs 851.15 crore globally.
