How China is using LinkedIn ‘headhunters’ to spy on British lawmakers

Beware of Chinese spies. MI5, Britain’s domestic spy service, has warned parliamentarians about individuals posing as LinkedIn recruiters to extract valuable and sensitive information. The intelligence agency even pointed out two online profiles — an Amanda Qiu and Shirly Shen — believed to be headhunters working for Chinese intelligence officials. This warning comes amid rising concerns about Beijing’s espionage activities in the UK
