Bihar Election: PM Modi Highlights GST Savings, Says NDA Policies Boost Youth Power And Growth

During his rally in Muzaffarpur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Bihar is celebrating the “GST Savings Festival,” which has brought economic relief to every household. He shared that motorcycle sales in the state have skyrocketed from just 5,000 last year to nearly 1.5 lakh this September–October, calling it proof of Bihar’s growing purchasing power and youth-driven progress. Modi said the NDA’s double-engine government has empowered industries, improved connectivity, and strengthened cooperative societies, particularly in agriculture and food processing. Contrasting this with the RJD-Congress era, he accused them of creating a “jungle raj” that drove away investment and youth, recalling the 2001 Muzaffarpur kidnapping case as an example of the lawlessness that once plagued the state. He emphasized that today’s Bihar is building hospitals, roads, and pipelines—symbolizing a shift from fear to progress. Modi credited GST reforms, local industries, and farmer-friendly policies for driving Bihar’s economic transformation, asserting that the NDA government represents security, development, and self-reliance for every Bihari.
