Sachin Sanghvi, a well-known Bollywood singer and music composer behind popular tracks from ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Bhediya,’ was taken into custody following allegations of sexual assault. The woman accused him of making false promises about featuring her in his music album and marrying her. He emphasized, “We remain committed to pursuing every lawful course of action to ensure that justice is rightfully served. As the matter is currently sub judice, we will not be making any further comments at this stage. We also respectfully urge members of the media to exercise sensitivity and discretion in their reporting, keeping in mind the dignity, privacy, and emotional well-being of the victim involved. ”Public attention and legal warningsThis announcement comes at a time when the case is attracting heightened attention from both the public and the media. Legal authorities have warned that because the case is currently under judicial consideration, any speculative or sensational reports may hinder the investigation and impact the parties involved.Complainant’s allegations and incident detailsAs per the reports, the complainant, believed to be in her twenties, stated that she came into contact with the composer in February 2024 after receiving a message from him on Instagram. Police revealed that they later shared phone numbers, and Sanghvi reportedly invited her to his studio, where he proposed marriage and then allegedly sexually assaulted her several times. Following this, the woman filed a complaint with the police, which led to Sanghvi’s arrest.Ongoing investigation and evidence verificationThe victim’s statement has been taken by the authorities, who are now reviewing the evidence related to the case. Given the delicate nature of the allegations, officials have withheld further information. The inquiry is still in progress.
