Shweta Tiwari is proof that fitness isn’t about chasing extremes. It’s about showing up. At 44, the television icon continues to exude confidence, strength, and vitality, inspiring fans with her disciplined approach to health. Known for her work in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Shweta recently opened up about her fitness journey in a candid chat with comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa on their YouTube channel, Bharti TV.

Her secret? Staying active in ways that feel sustainable – even if that means skipping trends that don’t suit her.

Pilates, Walks, And Light Weights

While many chase high-intensity workouts, Shweta Tiwari has found balance in a more mindful routine. “I go to the gym. I started Pilates two months ago. So, I do Pilates, walk, and do a little bit of weight training. I am doing limited right now, but I will be back,” she shared.

This combination – Pilates for strength and flexibility, walking for endurance, and light weight training for toning- gives her a holistic fitness structure without pushing her body to burnout. It’s also proof that fitness doesn’t have to mean long, punishing sessions; it’s the consistency that counts.

Why Yoga Isn’t For Her

Interestingly, Shweta admits that yoga just doesn’t work for her, not because she hasn’t tried, but because she finds it hard to silence her thoughts. “Whenever I try to do yoga and close my eyes, I start thinking, oh, I have to buy groceries, do the laundry, and all sorts of other things,” she said with a laugh.

It’s an honest confession many can relate to that mindfulness looks different for everyone. For Shweta, moving her body through Pilates and walking offers the same clarity and calm that yoga brings to others.

Discipline On And Off The Screen

Shweta’s commitment extends beyond workouts. Her dietitian, Dr. Kinita Patel, revealed in a 2021 interview that Shweta is meticulous about what she eats, even during shoots. “Every meal was planned in advance. She made sure to stick to foods that fit within her dietary plan,” Dr. Patel said.

Her mindful eating and structured routine underline a simple truth that wellness isn’t about perfection; it’s about making better choices every day.

At 44, Shweta Tiwari’s fitness journey is a reminder that staying fit is not about your age but your attitude. Whether it’s Pilates sessions, daily walks, or thoughtful eating, her routine proves that taking care of your body can be empowering, energising, and most importantly – achievable.
