Ahaan Panday and Sharvari to team up? Duo set to star in Ali Abbas Zafar’s action-romance: Report

Ahaan Panday and Sharvari Wagh are set to star in Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming action-romance film under Yash Raj Films. Following his success with Saiyaara, Ahaan prepares for his second project, while Sharvari marks her first major lead with YRF. Filming is expected to begin in early 2026.

Sharvari is stepping into the spotlight as the female lead in an upcoming major project. The film is touted as an action romance that marks a significant milestone in her rising career. As per latest reports she is set to star opposite ‘Saiyaara’ fame Ahaan Panday. Sharvari and Ahaan Panday’s upcoming projectAccording to Biz Asia Live, Sharvari will star opposite Ahaan Panday, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. This untitled movie will reportedly blend action and romance. The title and release date are not yet revealed. Ahaan Panday’s rising careerAfter his debut film ‘Saiyaara,’ which was released in July 2025, Panday received praises from fans and critics, and it became a massive box office success. Ahaan is all set for his second venture backed by his ‘Saiyaara’ makers. This upcoming action-romance is highly anticipated and scheduled to begin filming in early 2026. Director Ali Abbas Zafar’s track recordThe report also revealed, Ali Abbas Zafar is best known for his work like ‘Sultan’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Bharat’, is set to direct this movie. However, this is no official confirmation on this yet. Sharvari’s journey and upcoming projectsSharvari started her acting career in 2021 with Kabir Khan’s film ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, sharing screen space with names like Rani Mukerji, Saif Ali Khan, and Siddhant Chaturvedi. Although the film had mixed reactions, her performance earned praise for its charm. Up next, she is now gearing up for ‘Alpha’, starring alongside Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol. Apart from this, she also has a film directed by Imtiaz Ali.
