‘Unki Manohar Kahaniyan…’: Air Force Chief Asks Pakistan To Prove Its 15 Indian Jets Down Claim

Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh dismissed Pakistan’s claims of shooting down 15 Indian fighter jets during Operation Sindoor in May, and asked the country to prove its claims.

“During his annual press conference on the 93rd Air Force Day celebrations, when asked about Pakistan’s claims, Air Marshal Singh said, “If they think that they have taken down my 15 aircraft, let them think.. I won’t speak anything… Have you seen any picture which can establish their narrative?”

The Air Force chief described Pakistan’s claims of downing jets as “Manohar Kahaniya” (Interesting stories). “Unka jo narrative hai, wo unki Manohar kahaniya hai. Unko khush rehne do, unko apni public ko dikhane do, saakh bachane do. (Their narratives are their interesting stories. Let them be happy, let them present this to their public. Let them save face).”
