The bridal fashion event has announced the dates for its 2026 edition. Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week will return to Fira de Barcelona’s Montjuïc venue to stage a new edition from 22 to 26 April, where bridalwear and eveningwear design will share the spotlight. The runway shows will take place from 22 to 25 April, while the trade show, focused on business and the industry, will run from 24 to 26 April.

Under the theme ‘On the Shoulders of Giants’, the edition will feature more than 400 participating brands, 80% of them international, and around 40 designers who will present their 2027 collections on the runway. Exhibitors will be spread across Halls 1, 2 and 8 of the fairgrounds, which will house the exhibition spaces, the catwalk and networking areas for professionals.

With a refreshed visual identity, the 2026 edition will pay tribute to the figures who have cemented the event as a key date for the sector. The visual concept for this edition draws inspiration from the creative legacy of German designer Lilly Reich and celebrates women’s strength as a driving force in the history of design. Alongside bridalwear and groomswear collections, the catwalk will this time give greater prominence to cocktail and red-carpet looks.

“This edition stems from gratitude, but also from the desire to move forward with greater awareness. We stand on the shoulders of the giants who preceded us — brands, women, artists, people, ideas and the city — to look to the future with a more conscious and transformative outlook,” says Albasarí Caro, director of the event.

As is customary, the event will feature a new edition of Barcelona Bridal Night, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a commemorative fashion show by an international designer yet to be revealed. The event will follow in the footsteps of names such as Viktor & Rolf, Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli and Vivienne Westwood, which for the 2025 edition presented a punk-meets-romantic collection.
