Navratri Devi Mantras Chanting: Navratri, also called Shardiya Navratri, is one of the most eagerly awaited festivals in India, celebrated with devotion, energy, and joy. This year, it begins on September 22 and ends on October 2. Devotees honour Goddess Durga and her nine forms, celebrating her power, love, and protection, welcoming her into homes and temples with devotion and excitement.

The festival marks the triumph of good over evil. According to legend, the demon Mahishasura could not be defeated by any man due to a boon he received. The gods then created Goddess Durga, also called Mahishasurmardini, a fierce warrior who could defeat him. Navratri celebrates her courage, protective nature, and motherly love, reminding devotees of the victory of righteousness.
