Ashneer Grover, the co-founder and former Managing Director of BharatPe, provided a house tour of his lavish home in Delhi. The popular entrepreneur, known for his fearless and outspoken ways, arrived as a guest on one of the episodes of the Indian film director and choreographer Farah Khan’s YouTube show. During the house tour, Ashneer also broke the myth surrounding his dining table and whether it is priced as rumoured to be worth Rs 10 crores.

As the house tour progressed, Farah decided to pull Ashneer Grover‘s leg on the ongoing speculations surrounding the price of his dining table. The entrepreneur responded in sarcastic fashion and explained how the Rs 10 crore myth came to be.

Ashneer said it was an error in judgment by a set of reporters focused on details about his Delhi home. While the table weighs 150 kg, the former Shake Tank India judge revealed that these reporters misinterpreted it as ‘150k’. Backing an error with another, the reporters then assumed it must be worth 150 US dollars. Following a conversion into Indian currency, reporters published the price of the table at Rs 1 crore.

The matter didn’t stop there. Later on, one of the Hindi publications went on to “round it up” by adding another zero. It paved the way to the Rs 10 crore myth on the subject, Ashneer said.

During the episode, Ashneer provided glimpses of his high-end living area, a bar belonging just to his late father, spacious rooms and his aesthetic kitchen. In the living area, Ashneer has a bold portrait of his wife, Madhuri, giving her the presence of royalty on a throne. It is surrounded by global landmarks – the Eiffel Tower and the Brooklyn Bridge. He revealed that this artwork was a gift he received on his marriage anniversary.

Ashneer has given a personal touch to the bar, which surprisingly forms a part of his residence, even as neither he nor his wife drinks. The bar has a portrait of Ashneer’s late father and marks the family’s heartfelt tribute to him after his demise. Speaking about his kitchen on the show, Ashneer admitted he has a “bit of OCD” and prefers a set pattern and place for all things.
