Prime Minister Narendra Modi will mark his birthday on September 17 by unveiling a series of flagship health, nutrition and tribal welfare initiatives during his visit to Madhya Pradesh. The day-long programme in Dhar will see PM Modi launch India’s largest-ever health outreach for women and children, inaugurate a mega textile park and roll out service-oriented campaigns in tribal regions.

The Prime Minister will launch the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ campaign and the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah. The drive, scheduled from September 17 to October 2, will mobilise over one lakh health camps across government health facilities- the biggest-ever nationwide initiative for women and children’s health. The outreach will focus on screening and treatment for anaemia, tuberculosis, non-communicable diseases and sickle cell disease. It will also promote maternal and adolescent health, immunisation, menstrual hygiene, mental wellness and lifestyle changes, with specialist consultations available at district hospitals and medical colleges.

PM Modi will also transfer funds under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) directly into the accounts of nearly 10 lakh women nationwide. He will launch the Suman Sakhi Chatbot, designed to deliver timely maternal and child health information to women in rural and remote areas.

The Prime Minister will also distribute the one-croreth Sickle Cell Screening and Counselling Card in Madhya Pradesh, furthering the country’s fight against the disease.

PM Modi will also roll out the Adi Seva Parv, a campaign of service-oriented activities in tribal regions under the Adi Karmyogi Abhiyan. It will focus on health, nutrition, education, skill development, sanitation, water conservation and environment protection, with long-term development plans under Tribal Village Vision 2030.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the PM MITRA Park in Dhar, spread across 2,150 acres, with world-class facilities aimed at boosting India’s textile sector. The park has already attracted investment proposals of over ₹23,000 crore and is expected to create three lakh jobs, while also benefitting cotton farmers with better value for their produce.

PM Modi will gift a sapling to a member of a self-help group under the Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam initiative. Over 10,000 women across Madhya Pradesh are set to develop “Maa Ki Bagiya” gardens under the scheme.
