Kannada star Yash’s upcoming much talked about film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ is set to hit the big screens on August 26. As the film will be finally released in the coming days the makers will drop the trailer today. Ahead of its trailer release, the makers shared a brand new action packed poster of the film.

The team took to their X handle to share the poster which shows Yash standing tall creating an aura filled walking scene as fire erupts behind him. Looking at the action in the stills, Yash seems to be flicking something behind his back which leads to the explosion creating one of those cinematic walk away moments.Yash is seen in a black jacket and pants looking clean and dominant with his heavy beard.The trailer will be unveiled today at 7:01 pm.
Yash’s connection with the number 8
Fans in the comments are sharing their excitement for the trailer release. Interestingly, some internet users have also made some connections to Yash with the number “8”. It is known that number 8 holds a special significance for Yash who was also born on January 8th. A fan wrote, “8.8.24- shooting Started. 8.8.26- Trailer. 7.01 PM – Trailer time. 26.8.26- Movie Release. Yash and ‘8’ never ending love story.” Another added, “7+1=8 obsession with 8”.One fan called it, “This is the best poster so far.”Speaking of the trailer, it is reportedly set to release during a grand launch event in Bengaluru as per India Today. Although the makers haven’t announced yet, they suggested that preparations are underway for a large-scale launch in the Karnataka capital.
About ‘Toxic’
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is co-written by her and Yash which is a gangstar action thriller that is set in the late 90s of Goa. The film features Yash in a dual role as a father and son. The film also stars Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi, Sudev Nair, Amit Tiwari, and several other actors in important roles.The film has been shot in Kannada and English and will be also available in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil.
