New York designer Nili Lotan is expanding her label into footwear, unveiling its first-ever boot collection, as the brand continues its measured growth beyond ready-to-wear.

The debut footwear line introduces seven core boot styles rooted in Lotan’s signature aesthetic of understated luxury, tailored silhouettes and rock-and-roll influences. The inaugural collection centers on Western-inspired boots, drawing on Americana and vintage rock influences while incorporating refined design elements such as Lotan’s signature elongated “perfect toe”. Crafted in Italy and Spain using premium leathers, the collection emphasizes craftsmanship, longevity and timeless styling over trend-driven releases.
Rather than treating footwear as a seasonal addition, the designer has positioned the category as a foundational extension of the brand. The move marks the latest chapter for the Tribeca-based label, which has quietly grown into a business approaching $100 million in annual sales while maintaining an independent business model.
According to the brand, the tightly edited assortment reflects Lotan’s broader strategy of expanding into complementary categories through focused collections that reinforce its existing design language and create a more complete wardrobe offering. The footwear launch follows the brand’s entry into luxury leather goods with its handbag collection last year, as well as recent expansions into menswear and denim.
Known for her modern take on wardrobe essentials, Lotan has built a loyal following around investment pieces that balance utility with luxury. The introduction of footwear strengthens that positioning, with the designer continuing to focus on premium materials, versatile silhouettes and craftsmanship intended to transcend seasonal trends.
