Malayalam actress Anna Rajan took to her social media handle after a morphed image of her was shared online. She addressed the issue and strongly condemned the edited picture.
Anna Rajan speaks out against morphed image
Sharing the image in her Instagram post, Anna said it had been edited in a malicious way to harm her reputation. She also said the post was a serious attack on her privacy and dignity.She wrote, “This image has been maliciously edited and posted in an obscene and defamatory manner to damage my reputation. This is shameful, unacceptable, and a serious violation of my privacy and dignity.”
Actress says legal action will be taken
Anna said she has officially reported the account to Instagram. She also confirmed that she will be filing a police complaint under the applicable laws. “I am officially reporting this account to Instagram and will be filing a police complaint under the applicable laws. Whoever is responsible for creating or sharing this edited content will be held accountable. Legal action will be taken, and I will pursue this matter until justice is served. Please do not support or share such abusive content,” she wrote.
Requests Kerala Police to act immediately
Along with her post, Anna shared a caption requesting the Kerala Police and Cyberdome Kerala to take immediate action against the account. “This account has posted a maliciously edited and defamatory image of me. I request @keralapoliceofficial and @kerala_police @cyberdomekerala to take immediate action. I have preserved the evidence and will be filing an official police complaint,” she further added. On the work front, Anna Rajan had joined the cast of Rajinikanth’s much-awaited action entertainer ‘Jailer 2’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. The film is currently in post-production and marks another big step in her career.Anna is also playing a key role in an upcoming Malayalam film, ‘Pablo Party’ directed by Arathi Gayathri Devi. The film is scheduled to release on November 27, 2026.
