United States carried out a second consecutive day of airstrikes against Iran, targeting more than eight cities near the Strait of Hormuz. According to the report, the attacks struck Bandar Abbas, Abu Musa, Qeshm Island, Sirik, Chabahar, Jask, Konarak, and other strategic locations. It states that Chabahar Port’s maritime control tower sustained heavy damage, causing a temporary power outage before electricity was restored. The report says the US Central Command confirmed the strikes were ordered directly by President Donald Trump, with the stated objective of protecting international shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and degrading Iran’s military capabilities. It further claims that military infrastructure, including IRGC aerospace facilities in Bushehr, radar stations in Konarak, and other strategic sites, suffered significant damage. The report argues that the renewed attacks signal a breakdown of previous understandings between the two sides and indicate that military tensions are escalating once again, raising concerns about a broader regional conflict and its potential impact on stability in the Middle East.
