Widespread disruption caused by heavy monsoon rains across several parts of India. According to the report, a young girl in Gurugram narrowly escaped serious injury after falling into a rainwater-filled pit in Rajiv Nagar, with the incident captured on CCTV. In Maharashtra’s Bhiwandi, despite repeated warnings from authorities, several youths were seen performing dangerous stunts in a swollen river amid flood conditions. The report also states that a cloudburst in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district triggered a flash flood, sending water, mud, trees, and debris rushing through the Gadsa Valley. In Gujarat’s Navsari, continuous rainfall reportedly caused flood-like conditions, submerging roads and inundating residential areas. Meanwhile, Delhi and Gurugram experienced overnight rainfall that led to severe waterlogging, traffic congestion, and disruptions in daily life. Areas including Sadar Bazaar, Laxmi Nagar, Munirka, and Sector 10 in Gurugram were particularly affected. Residents reported difficulties commuting, taking children to school, and navigating flooded streets.
