Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, the founders of Viktor&Rolf, put contrasts centre stage.

Two models, one young and the other older, modelled several looks on a revolving stage set as a bedroom. The younger model’s outfits were luminous and gilded, while the older model’s were more muted and understated.
“We’d had the mirror concept for a long time: the same choreography, the same silhouettes and, at the same time, differences,” Rolf Snoeren told AFP.

Finally, Franck Sorbier unveiled a collection inspired by the 1900 World’s Fair. Each outfit evoked a region of the world, from Asia to Europe via the Ottoman Empire, and was paired with an accessory such as a spyglass, a pack of cards, a suitcase and even a dog.
